Good Afternoon! It is time to nominate parent representatives for our 2025-2026 Site-Based Decision Making Council.
If you are a parent who will have a student at Paint Lick Elementary School next year and you would like to nominate a fellow PLE parent to serve on the SBDM Council for next school year, please fill out the form below. We will accept names through this Friday, April 25th.
VOTING will take place on Monday, April 28th and Tuesday, April 29th from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the PLE Main Office.

Everyday is a GREAT Day to be a PANTHER and we love to show our PANTHER PRIDE!
We are asking all of our students to show their PLE PANTHER PRIDE on Monday by wearing this year's school t-shirt!
Next Friday we will host our Annual Spring Carnival and we hope to see you all there! Join us for games, inflatables, food trucks, face painting and more! Students can purchase unlimiited punch cards for $25 or purhase a card with 10 punches for $5. Punch cards will be sold at school beginning on Monday and you can save $5 by purchasing your unlimited card in advance! We will also have punch cards available for purchase at the event. This week our 3rd-5th Grade Students will begin their iReady Spring Diagnostic Assessments in Reading and Math. We will be taking Reading on Monday and Tuesday and Math on Thursday and Friday. Please make sure that your student brings their Chromebook charged each day.
We are excited to see the wonderful growth our students have made this school year in Reading and Math!

Happy Monday, GCS families! Today’s #mondaymoments come from Paint Lick Elementary, where we visited Kindergarten- 5th Grade. Our PLE students were BUSY today and happy to return from NTI! Students were practicing math skills, working on their origami skills in Art, and testing their reading comprehension. Check it out!⬆️
Congratulations to our students for being named 1st Place State Winners in the 2024-2025 Kentucky State Daughters of the American Revolution Junior American Contest! Their submissions, including stamp designs, banners, photographs, and more, showcased their talent and creativity. We are proud of their achievement! 👏

🗓Save the Date! Garrard County High School Project Graduation is hosting a Mother/Son, Father/Daughter Dance on February 28th from 6:30-8:30PM in the GCHS Cafeteria! Tickets are $12 per couple and $4 for each additional child, with concessions and pictures available for purchase. Calling all K-7th grade dancers! Join us for our upcoming Dance Clinic on January 25th, hosted by Garrard County High School's Dance team. For just $25, each dancer will receive a T-shirt, participate in the clinic, and have the opportunity to perform at the GCHCS Boys’ Basketball game on January 30th.
