Louisville, KY – February 19, 2025

The Beta Gamma Chapter of the Delta Zeta Sorority at the University of Louisville is thrilled to announce the crowning of the 2025 titleholders for the Miss University of Louisville Pageant. The exciting pageant event was held on Sunday, February 16th, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Middleton Auditorium in Strickler Hall on the UofL campus.

The Miss University of Louisville pageant has become a beloved tradition, with the Beta Gamma chapter of Delta Zeta reigniting the pageant in 2008 after a long hiatus. The last Miss UofL pageant was held in 1967, and since its revival, it has provided a prestigious platform for talented young women pursuing the Miss Kentucky Scholarship Program. This year’s titleholders will advance to the Miss Kentucky pageant, which serves as a qualifier for the renowned Miss America competition.

2025 Miss Titleholders:

Miss UofL - Hannah Rager of Breman, a University of Louisville student studying Marketing and Sports Administration. 

Miss Cardinal Country - Shae’la Worsley of Lexington, a Morehead State University graduate who majored in Political Science and Public Policy, along with minors in English and Military Science. 

Miss Derby City - Taylor Henry of Louisville, a University of Louisville pre-law student studying Criminal Justice and Sociology, and a Minor in Chinese.

2025 Teen Titleholders:

Miss Cardinal Country Teen - Sarah Fryman of Cynthiana, a freshman at Harrison County High School. 

Miss Minerva Teen - Ava Swope of Paint Lick, a senior at Garrard County High School.

The Miss University of Louisville Pageant is a preliminary event for the Miss Kentucky Scholarship Program, a part of the Miss America Organization. The pageant offers contestants the opportunity to compete for scholarships, build leadership skills, and engage in community service.
