Happy Monday, GCS families! Today’s #mondaymoments come from Lancaster Elementary, where we visited Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd and 5th Grade. Our LES students were BUSY today! Students were practicing math skills, working on their endurance in Fitness class and reading about the 19th Amendment. Check it out!⬆️

Garrard County Schools will be utilizing a Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) Day tomorrow, Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025. Students will report to classes virtually.
Garrard County Schools will operate on a one-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21st, 2025. School will start one hour later than usual but will still dismiss at the regular time. Stay safe, and we’ll see you in the morning!

🗓 School Calendar Update: Last night, the Board made a second amendment to this year's school calendar. In December, the Board added Tuesday, May 20, as a student day to make up for the day missed on Friday, September 27, due to Hurricane Helene. To make up for last Friday's Snow Day (January 10), the Board has now approved adding Monday, February 17, as a student day.
Thank you for staying flexible as we ensure all instructional days are accounted for- and as always, you can view a current calendar on our school website!
