Our GCS students brought the spirit of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade to life with our very own Balloon Parade! From learning about the parade's history to reading 'Balloons over Broadway, our students planned, created, and paraded their balloons through the school, cheered on by their peers. Join us for our District Family Math Night at Garrard Middle School on December 6th, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Open to all GCS K-12 students and families! Parents will participate in informative mini-sessions led by our district Math leaders, gaining valuable insights into supporting their student's math education at home. Simultaneously, students will enjoy engaging math activities designed to spark their enthusiasm for math!
Take the opportunity to discuss the concept of numbers at home with our local bank representatives and pick up goodies from their tables. GCS will raffle take-home math games at the end of the event, just before families and students grab a grab-and-go pizza dinner. Don't miss out on this exciting night of learning!

Our Garrard County High School Chess Club and TATU members joined forces to pack fifteen Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes bringing smiles to children in need, and kicking off the National Collection Week (11/13-11/20). It is amazing to see our students and staff making a difference!
